Dr. Bollinger received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where she also completed a residency in Internal Medicine.  She then went on to complete a  fellowship in Gastroenterology. Dr. Bollinger is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  As a child Dr. Bollinger was fascinated by anything medical and loved going to her family doctor. She is still amazed by the intricacies of anatomy and physiology and loves the constant advances in the field of medicine.
