Josie Carter, PA-C, earned her masters of medical science in physician associate studies from Our Lady of the Lake College in 2008. She became a PA because of a desire to work with other healthcare professionals to provide patients with the best possible care that not only focuses on outcomes but also empowers patients to make decisions that impact their health through education and advocacy of regular screening and follow-up. She has been with Louisiana Cardiology Associates since 2011 with a concentration in cardiac electrophysiology. She currently works in our Tobacco Treatment Center serving patients with tobacco addiction.
