Akwasi Adjare-Sefa, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who provides comprehensive primary care for adults. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. He is also board certified in obesity medicine. 

With decades of experience caring for patients in the Baton Rouge community, Dr. Adjare-Sefa emphasizes prevention, chronic disease management and personalized treatment plans. He works closely with patients to help them improve their overall health through evidence-based medicine, healthy lifestyle changes and long-term partnerships.
