Alex Robertson, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in primary care sports medicine at FMOL Health | Our Lady of the Lake. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and completed his family medicine residency at LSU Health in New Orleans, where he served as both co-chief and chief resident. He completed additional fellowship training in primary care sports medicine at the University of Arkansas. 

Dr. Robertson has provided sports medicine coverage for athletes at the collegiate, high school and professional levels, including experience with football, basketball, soccer, boxing and mixed martial arts. His approach combines his background in family medicine with specialized training in musculoskeletal care to help athletes and active patients prevent injuries, recover and safely return to the activities they enjoy.
