About The Provider
Austin Labbé, MD, is a Louisiana native who grew up in Geismar. He earned his bachelor of science in biology from Louisiana State University, followed by his medical degree from LSU Health - Shreveport. Dr. Labbé then returned home to complete his psychiatry residency at LSU Health - Baton Rouge, where he served as chief resident in his final year. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending LSU football and baseball games, playing guitar and the occasional video game. Dr. Labbé is committed to providing excellent, evidence-based psychiatric care and is now seeing adults and adolescents at Ascension Counseling Center in Gonzales.

Dr. Labbe is by far the best psych doc I have ever seen! I find him very easy to talk to! He thoroughly listens to what I have to say and takes my feelings into account when going forward with a plan. I hope to be able to keep him for my doctor for a while!
