Caroline Stafford, MD, is a hospital medicine physician at FMOL Health | Our Lady of the Lake. She earned her medical degree from LSU Health in New Orleans and completed her internal medicine residency at LSU Health in Baton Rouge. 

Dr. Stafford cares for hospitalized patients with a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions. She works closely with specialists and other members of the care team to guide treatment, coordinate care and support patients throughout their hospital stay. 

In addition to patient care, Dr. Stafford has been active in clinical research throughout her medical training. Her work has contributed to published research in pediatric palliative care and other areas of medicine, and she has presented research at state and national medical conferences.
