Dr. Courtney Adams earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders and Minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University College of Arts and Sciences in Baton Rouge in 2003. She earned her Master of Communication Disorders degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2005 then returned to school to earn her Doctor of Audiology degree from A. T. Still University Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2013. She began practicing at Our Lady of the Lake Hearing and Balance Center in May 2009. She specializes in adult diagnostic audiological and balance assessments. However, her primary focus is the evaluation, fitting, and programming of cochlear implants and bone conduction hearing devices. Dr. Adams is licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Adams was awarded the honor of Top Audiologist 2019 from the Top Doctors Awards. Dr. Adams is a native of Harvey, LA and currently resides in Baton Rouge.
