Dena Landry’s desire for the welfare of the elderly led her to pursue her degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Geriatrics. She has many years experience in critical care and is passionate about caring for the critically ill. In her role as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, she particularly appreciates interpersonal communication with and providing education and support to, her patients and their families. She has specific training in the management of complex patient circumstances, including patient assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans to stabilize and maximize seniors’ health. 
  
Landry holds a Master of Science in Nursing – Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond.

She is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and is board certified by the American Academy of Critical Care Nurses as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
