Hailey Budnick, MD, is a neurological surgeon specializing in pediatric neurosurgery. She earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine and completed her residency training in neurological surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. Alongside her clinical training, Dr. Budnick has built a strong foundation in research, with more than 12 peer-reviewed publications advancing the understanding and treatment of complex neurological conditions in children. 

Dr. Budnick brings deep expertise across the full range of pediatric neurosurgical care. She treats children with brain tumors, including gliomas, and uses innovative therapies such as GammaTile. Her epilepsy work spans stereoelectroencephalography, laser ablation, corpus callosotomy and selective dorsal rhizotomy, and she is skilled in deep brain stimulation and spinal cord stimulation. She also cares for children facing cerebrovascular conditions. Recognized as Indiana University's pediatric neurosurgery resident of the year in 2020, Dr. Budnick is committed to advancing pediatric neurosurgical care through ongoing research and compassionate, family-centered treatment, walking alongside families with skill and heart at every step of their journey.
