Jennifer Machen is a Licensed Professional Counselor, by the Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners and a National Certified Counselor, board-certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She completed internships at Cypress Psychiatric Hospital and in two private practice settings, and has been involved in private practice for the majority of her career. Jennifer has extensive experience in providing comprehensive counseling services to children, teens and adults. She offers individual, marital and family psychotherapy to those experiencing a variety of issues, including anxiety and depression, teen difficulties, addictions, parenting skills, marital issues, bariatric complications, mood disorders, and adjustment issues. She is passionate about dispelling the stigma associated with mental health issues, and addresses each patient as an individual, not a diagnosis.
