About The Provider

Jorge Castellanos, MD, FACC, FSCAI, completed a Fellowship in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he was named Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Castellanos practiced in Hammond, Louisiana, prior to completing a Structural Heart Fellowship at Swedish Heart and Vascular Institute in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Castellanos is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), Board of Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease Board and the Interventional Cardiology Board. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (FSCAI). Dr. Castellanos is an interventional cardiologist with additional specialized training in structural heart disease. His hobbies include traveling, live music, playing guitar and independent films.
