Karrie McCoy, MSN, APRN, AGACNP, has extensive experience providing care to patients from adolescent to elderly in critical care and acute care settings. She received her Master of Science in Nursing in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She holds a certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the American Nursing Credentialing Center and is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Brown is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
