Dr. Kyle Champagne is a lifelong resident of Louisiana, growing up in Houma. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Humanities from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux in 2011 and obtained his M.D. from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2015. Following medical school, he completed his internal medicine residency training with LSU Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge in 2018. Thereafter, he was selected to serve as chief resident from 2018-2019.
 
Dr. Champagne is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. 

Dr. Champagne was drawn to internal medicine because he saw the value in learning the physiology of the body in its entirety. He wants to be able to form relationships with his patients so that he may support them in wellness throughout their adult life span. He has a particular interest in chronic disease management and preventative medicine including immunizations and cancer screenings.
 
Dr. Champagne is married to the love of his life whom he met while in medical school. She also has a passion for healthcare and practices as a certified nurse midwife. Dr. Champagne is an avid LSU and Saints fan and has a wide variety of interests including music - playing both the piano and trumpet, fishing, hunting, traveling, spending time with his family, running, and lawn care. Both he and his wife are parishioners at St. George Catholic Church.
