Dr. Tran is a neonatologist, treating and caring for term and premature newborns with medical needs.  She received her medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She then completed her pediatric residency and neonatal-perinatal medicine Fellowship from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Tran is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her professional interests include breastfeeding, increasing the use of breastmilk feeds, antibiotic stewardship and the prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis.  

Dr. Tran enjoys participating in community outreach and is an Ambassador for Octopus for a Preemie U.S. In her free time, she is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys crafting, gardening, learning calligraphy and reading. Born and raised right here in Louisiana, Dr. Tran loves crawfish, CC’s coffee and king cake.
