I apologize for spelling but Dr. Rasengani very thoroughly explained how the thyroid and all of that works and what the problems could be and then explained what each test he was ordering was for. He even drew on the board in the room so I had a visual which was extremely helpful.

Dr Raisingani is the best. He is patient, thorough, explains everything where we understand it, listens to us and our son, and provides all this with a very good "bedside" manner. I am so thankful for him.

The appointment was incorrectly scheduled by the person who schedules back in March. Not my problem. Sadly, the doctor was rushed and a bit snippy. The poor med student was told not to ask any questions because the doctor said he had no time to answer them today. My son even started crying because he felt like he had done something wrong with the pump. I admit it got better as the appointment went on, and the doctor acted like he normally does. However, a scheduling error from the office is not our problem, and we can't help that he was frustrated and rushed over that. Diabetes is hard enough to manage and to have that attitude with a kid because you're rushed is unacceptable. Again, it got better within a few minutes but knowing we were just another number makes me sad. And I'm sure the bill will be astronomical as usual.
