About The Provider
Dr. Michael D. DiLeo is a native of New Orleans and received a degree in chemical engineering at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his medical degree at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He completed his General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. His residency was followed by fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at Hahnemann University Hospital / Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. DiLeo received his board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has been a member of the LSU Department of Otolaryngology as an assistant clinical professor since 2007 and a member of the Lake Physicians Group since 2010. Dr. DiLeo’s clinical practice focuses on head and neck cancer surgical oncology, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland tumors, facial trauma surgery and microvascular plastic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck.

Dr. Michael DiLeo is outstanding. I have the highest confidence in him with respect to my medical care. He frequently asks for my questions and takes adequate time explaining my condition and treatment options. I always have higher confidence in my healing prospects after seeing Dr. DiLeo.

Dr. Dileo is outstanding. He has performed surgery on me previously with excellent results. He is caring, efficient, and takes time to explain his medical plan. His nurse Meghan is also excellent and provides detailed instructions. I can't say enough good things about both of them.

Dr did not show up for the appointment. He has consistently been late, with little regard for my time. I will schedule if needed in the future,but will not install a trac under any circumstances.

Dr Dileo has been my ENT since February 2025 and successfully improved my health. The surgery plan and recovery has been detailed and carefully monitored so that now I have healed completely. I'm grateful for all the professionals at St Francis OLOL.
