About The Provider
Mostafa Aboubakr, MD, graduated from the School of Medicine at Cairo University in Egypt in 2010. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Miami's Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Subsequently, he concluded his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
Dr. Aboubakr is Board Certified in both internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. He sees patients in the intensive care units at Our Lady of the Lake and manages various pulmonary conditions including chronic obstructive lung diseases, severe bronchial asthma, interstitial lung diseases and pulmonary nodules. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians.
