About Rohan Ramchandra Walvekar

About The Provider

Rohan Walvekar, MD, grew up with parents who were both physicians and his role models. While they worked hard, he could see the joy and personal satisfaction their profession brought them. After realizing the potential he could offer patients as a physician, he chose to pursue a career in ENT and to sub-specialize in cancers of the head and neck. Dr. Walvekar says that treating cancer is challenging but also very rewarding. He feels that he is contributing to a social problem and has the opportunity and privilege to participate and help people through some of the most difficult times in their lives. He has a particular interest in minimally-invasive surgery for the salivary glands, also known as sialendoscopy. Dr. Walvekar is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi languages.
