Shahrzad Talebinejad, MD, received her bachelor of science in biology from the University of Maryland in College Park, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. Dr. Talebinejad earned her medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies. She completed her general surgery residency at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Talebinejad completed her trauma and critical care fellowship at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. She is a professional member of the American College of Surgeons.
