Shamecca Causey, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner at FMOL Health | Our Lady of the Lake in Plaquemine. She earned her master of science in nursing from the University of South Alabama, where she also completed a cardiovascular subspecialty certificate. 

Shamecca provides primary care for adults with a focus on preventive health, chronic disease management and patient education. She brings more than a decade of nursing experience, including cardiovascular and perioperative care, and has experience caring for patients with diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and other complex health needs.  

She works with patients to develop practical, personalized care plans that support their health over time.
