Taha Ahmed, MD, is a hospital medicine physician at FMOL Health | Our Lady of the Lake. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at LSU Health Sciences Center, where he also served as chief resident. 

Dr. Ahmed’s training includes the diagnosis and management of complex medical conditions as well as inpatient procedures and point-of-care ultrasound. His leadership experience includes work focused on patient safety, quality improvement and medication practices.  

Fluent in English and Urdu, Dr. Ahmed is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care while keeping patients and families informed throughout their hospital stay.
