Tera Johnson, CPNP-PC, is a dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner who obtained her master of science in nursing with a pediatric primary care focus from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 2016. She has an extensive background in acute care from working in the pediatric emergency department for the last eight years of her NP career before becoming a valued member of the FMOL Health | Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital  surgical  specialist team. She compassionately focuses on optimizing patient outcomes through comprehensive, family-centered, evidence-based, best-practice care. She plays a key role in a wide range of non-surgical and surgical procedures during the preoperative, postoperative and recovery planning stages in the hospital setting. She is a multidisciplinary collaborator who uses her outstanding communication skills to ensure her patients receive the highest quality of care throughout their surgical and hospital journeys.
